02:10 am [Link]	UPDATE and apology for the imminent spammage Hi all, waves I have been doing some serious writing over the last few weeks, Cyndie has two chappies of Concubine and I am working on a third. I plan to finish the story by the end of the summer, this is cos I'm taking part in three (three!!!) writing fests. I have stories sketched out for all the fests and am very excited about the lot of them. I'm writing for the bottom_draco fairytale fest (I have just about finished that one) and also an entry for the severusbigbang for Severus Snape's birthday in January 2010. I'm also writing a story for the hd_career_fair which has some seriously awesome prompts and which looks wonderful. artwork by heathen_arcade hd_career_fair CLAIMING NOW IS OPEN!!! Meanwhile... I've also been editing stories and tidying up my journal. I added a list of stories, sorted by pairing and I realised that I've written a number of stories that haven't been posted here, so I'm doing that today. 06:56 am [Link]	Update, or 'is our Lucie still alive' Oooh, look at the pretty. I got a runner up prize at The forbiddenawards.. I think there were only three people in my category and the others got joint first prize g but it was nice to be included. Of course I will now have to change the name of the story, to reflect the rather more existentialist title on the button! Follow the link to read who the other finalists were, I am in very exhaulted company! This is what the judge said about the story -----> 'The Deconstructive(!) It's an interesting story with forced bonding, bondage, biting, blood play and clan rituals. Some of it may be considered cliche but it is so hot and so much fun, who really cares? You have the hotness and cockiness of Spike added to the needy, conflicted relationship of Snape and Harry. A truly fun read.' In other news, my beloved Cyndie has been very snowed under by RL, but there is at least one chapter of Concubine waiting to be betaed and one more nearly completed, so there'll hopefully be an update soon. 11:09 am [Link]	Snarry-fic-a-thon Hi all waves weakly So guys have been very busy, had a teeny tiny hospital op, but am recovering now. Have sent a chapter of Concubine to Cyndie and written a fic for the Snarry-a-thon (nope mine aint up yet). I hope you are all over there reading, gazing at art and reviewing like mad, because there are some wonderful stories and art and we're still only at day three. My fav so far is 'Seven Steps to Heaven' which carries a character death warning, so I think people are giving it a miss. Don't! I think it's a wonderful story, with wonderful prose. It's so beautifully written, beautifully characterised both witty and sad. I loved it.
