Notes: This drabble was my entry for the first ldws fest. Which had some awesome entries. The drabbles are posted on Sunday night/Monday morning and the reader votes (anonymously)for their favourite and least favourite drabble. The least favourite gets eliminated (and gets a lovely banner as a consolation). Many congratulations to joanwilder the week one winner.

My drabble was great fun and I could just see Severus doing this! Thanks to Cyndie, for sorting my mistakes as always.

Hunting Thistles




“The first time I came to the forest it was with Hagrid,” Harry said grumpily, “Voldemort was here possessing Quirrell.”

“Then Ron and I nearly got eaten by Aragog’s family. I bloody hate this place.”

“Harry,” Severus huffed, “will you please shut up! Finding a Midnight-Milk Thistle is difficult enough without you wittering on. Do you know how distracting it is?”

“But I’m bored; can’t we stop for a moment?” Harry whined.

“Oh for Merlin’s sake, Potter, are you twelve? Do you know how petulant you sound?”

Harry pouted.

“Perhaps if you gave me a kiss?”

Severus’ mouth twisted into what could be considered a grimace, but was actually a sort of smile.

“Will that shut you up?”

Harry nodded and pursed his lips, hopefully

Severus acquiesced.

Kissing Harry was sublime. Harry’s mouth was soft and yielding. It tasted so incredibly sweet. Severus buried his fingers in the wildness that was Harry’s hair and held him tightly. Harry moaned against Severus’ explorations and undulate his hips, demanding more.

If sex al-fresco was what Harry wanted, Severus was happy to oblige. He lowered his lover carefully, pulling down Harry’s trousers so that he could cup his bare bottom, kissing him passionately until Harry was lying beneath him on the forest floor. The boy squeaked, urgently and jerked his hips upwards.

“N-no. S-stop. Please, Severus. Ow!”

Severus was hard, deeply aroused, he didn’t want to stop. “What is it now, Potter?” he snapped.

“That plant you’re looking for, is it prickly?”

“Of course it is! It’s a thistle; they have fearsome spines!”

“Yeah, I know.” Harry whimpered, “I think it’s here, I’ve just found it. With my arse.”

“Clever boy.” Severus chuckled, holding him in place and kissing him again, he had no need to hurry, now he’d found his prize.
